Immigration powers our caregiving economy

Immigrant workers disproportionately staff nursing homes, harvest food, and clean hospitals. Policy rhetoric rarely acknowledges dependence on their labor while pathways to citizenship stall.
Humane immigration reform is economic realism, not charity. Families separated by visa backlogs lose stability; employers lose experienced workers.
We need visas that match labor needs and dignity for those already here.
