Community colleges deserve prestige

Community colleges enroll nearly half of undergraduates, often while students work full time. They provide transfer paths, vocational credentials, and second chances.

Yet funding per student lags flagship universities. Facilities age. Adjuncts teach without benefits.

Investing in community colleges is investing in mobility. Stop treating them as afterthoughts.
